Introduction

A textbook group is simply a book list that contains all the required academic textbooks a child would need during an academic year. This means that when you get the book list from a school, you can create a textbook group here on CTBN for your child. This textbook group will be used to search for the suppliers that have them in your region, or in other regions of Cameroon.

Attributes of a textbook group

Every textbook group, no matter which section it is in, has 6 major attributes on CTBN which include the following:

• The name of the textbook group (for convenience, this should be the name of your child),
• A brief description of what the textbook group is for,
• The region your child goes to school (this will be used to perform the search),
• The section of education of your child (English or French),
• The class of your child (this should be one of the classes specified by CTBN),
• The academic textbooks in the book list (one per line).

Classes used by CTBN are shown below:

English section: Prenursery, Nursery 1, Nursery 2, Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, Class 4, Class 5, Class 6, Form 1, Form 2, Form 3, Form 4, Form 5, Lowersixth, and Uppersixth.

French section: Maternelle, CP, CE1, CE2, CM1, CM2, 6ème, 5ème, 4ème, 3ème, Seconde, Première, Terminale.
