Reservations
Searching or filtering your reservations
This action can be performed only by suppliers. Customers would seldom use this since they will most likely have just enough reservations for their children, even if they had up to 10 children.
If filtering reservations is benign for customers, it is extremely important for suppliers whose mode is RESERVATION. This is because they will have to use this feature to process each reservation, whether these reservations are “pending” or “ready”.
When you are in your reservations page, you should see a search form before your reservations. This search form can be used to filter your reservations based on the dropdown list as shown below:

Filtering based on status
The most important filter for suppliers will be the status. This can be any of 3 values; “pending”, “ready”, or “paid”
The “pending” status
When a reservation is created by a customer, the reservation will be in a “pending” state. This means that the reservation has been created and that the supplier is still to process this reservation. Processing means that the supplier will have to go into the details of your reservations and group the textbooks you want. Once they are done and they are sure all your textbooks are available and ready for you to come and collect, they will mark the reservation as “ready”.
Tip: To handle only pending reservations, you can use the search form and filter by “pending”, making sure you have selected “Status” from the form dropdown list. Each time you are done with a pending reservation and mark it ready, it will be removed from the list and you can continue handling the other pending reservations.
Note: Reservations are arranged in FIFO (First in First out). This means that older reservations top the list while recent reservations are at the bottom of the list.
The “ready” status
When a pending reservations is marked ready, an email is sent to the customer, and the customer collector if any has been associated with the reservation. This will enable the customer to know that they can go and collect their textbooks from the supplier.
Note: You can follow the same tip above for reservations that are marked ready. That is, when customers are there to collect, you filter by the customer's ID or if any, the customer collector's ID. Once the customer has collected their textbooks and paid, you can mark the reservation as paid.
[VERY IMPORTANT] Once a reservation has been marked as ready, it cannot go back to pending, and the customer WILL receive that email. Same thing for paid reservations, they cannot go back to ready.
The “paid” status
Once the customer has successfully validated, paid and collected their textbooks, you the supplier can mark that reservation as paid. An email will be sent to the customer indicating to them that they have paid for their reservation.
Note: If you want to see all your reservations again, you can clear the filter input and make an empty search. That will display to you all your reservations without any filter applied.
