Customers and their collectors

Suppose you are a customer and you have made some reservations. Suppose at the dying minutes you realize you have an emergency and you cannot go and collect these reservations. There are 2 things you could do here:

  • Collect the reservations another day yourself,
  • Send someone you trust to go and collect your reservations on your behalf.

These two options are legit, but if you really wanted you child to have their textbooks, then you will most likely go for option 2, and that is why we have decided to create what is called customer collectors. If you have at least 1 reservation that is either pending or ready, you can create a collector. To see a list of your collectors, go to DashboardMy AccountCollectors.

Customer collectors do not have a dashboard as they are created only to collect reservations when the customer is busy.

Note: Before you create a customer collector, you will need to know the ID of the reservations you will want them to collect. This is because it is part of the information necessary to create them.

To add a new collector for your account, go to DashboardMy AccountCollectorsNew Collector.

To update a collector, go to DashboardMy AccountCollectorsEdit.

Tip: Instead of creating a collector each time you have a reservation, you could create 1 or 2, and depending on their availability, just assign them different reservations each time you make one.
